I am not a writer but a printer. So, this is not a novel loaded with tons of reading. It is a 59 page book with nothing but straight forward tips to help you get work done easier and faster. 59 pages of tips is a lot of tips. To get you to make the most money and doing the least amount of work. This is the book I wish I had when I began printing and many times when I was in printing. Here are a couple of tips in the book for a sample of what you will get:

“If you need to alter a photo or artwork that is used in a Microsoft Word document that someone has sent you, you know you can’t do it in Word. Well Pages can; here’s how. Open the Word document in Pages by dragging the doc to the Pages icon in the dock. Save the document in Pages form. Go back to the Finder to the Pages saved file and right click or control click on the file and choose “show package contents.” Inside that is all the scans/photos/art used in the document. You can now drag , for instance, a photo out of that folder to anywhere you want and take it in Photoshop and alter it however you like.”

“There are many good roller washes out there now. My favorite was Gans Nature wash. It had to be followed up with traditional washes because it was a very oily wash and you must get that oil off. One day I was thinking “I bet this is mainly vegetable oil”. So, I bought some vegetable oil (any brand) and put it in a thin streamline squirt bottle and it works great. Yes, vegetable oil cleans the majority of the ink off. This mainly works for presses that wash with clean up sheets.
